After not being seen since 2021 at this office (or any office) I was welcomed back by Dr. Lee and staff with open arms. No judgement just care and concern and honestly some praise for how little my teeth have changed in that timeframe. Life just happened and I didn’t make this a priority but I am so happy to be back at Blue Hills Dental Office as I know I am in amazing hands.

I just had my second visit with Dr. Erica Chang, and am really happy with her work. For the last few years I hopped around dentists as my insurance and location changed. Most recently I had seen two dentists who gave me completely different reports on the condition of my teeth, and with a really stressful job at the time and not so great insurance, I put off handling it. In a better position, I sought out another dentist to give a third perspective and found Blue Hill Dental. Dr. Chang is nonjudgemental and calm. She gave a very clear report of her findings to me–she doesn’t throw technical speak at you and is good at explaining. The office uses a lot of fancy tools I’d never seen before. On my first visit, they took photos of my teeth to help monitor their condition and also so they could show me what they see. Their technician was very efficient with taking the x rays, and they have a swiveling monitor so they can show you the photos and x rays. The cleaning was painless. I’ve had dentists that cut my gums to bits, but Dr. Chang and her techs are very gentle. They take their time and explain every step. They also didn’t drown me with water and spray. I needed some fillings so I went back today for my first two. Dr. Chang’s demeanor is great for somebody with anxiety and she isn’t stingy with numbing medication; she made me very comfortable and all I felt was the pressure from the tools but no pain. The office uses this device to hold your mouth open that I think also has suction built in, which is honestly great for your jaw and also to keep water from backing up to your throat. She checked in throughout the process and took additional time to provide extra treatment when what looked to be a straight forward cavity turned into a bigger problem. I’ve had a lot of really negative experiences with dentists so I’m really pleased to finally find one that I’m comfortable with. I highly recommend this practice.

Only regret about Blue Hills Dental is that I didn’t make the switch to them sooner. Everyone from reception, hygienists, and dentist are all very friendly. Going to the dentist does not need to be a bad experience, I actually look forward to it now!

Top-notch care at this dental practice! The staff were very friendly, caring, made me feel very comfortable, knowledgeable, and attentive specially Dan, the dental hygienist who meticulously cleaned my teeth with the utmost care and patience. Dr. Lee, who thoroughly evaluated & examined my teeth, was very friendly, took the time in answering all my questions and gave me pointers in taking better care of my teeth. Blue Hills Dental Associates of Braintree is the best clinic on the South Shore. From the receptionist, who is so friendly, to the hygienists and doctors, you will leave very satisfied, with your teeth feeling and looking great. I highly recommend this practice for the entire family.

Everything about this dentist office is wonderful! I have a very stressful situation going on with a complicated tooth and gum issue which has been given me tremendous anxiety. Dr. Chang and his staff put my mind to ease within minutes of my consultation. Five stars, I highly recommend him to anyone looking for experienced, knowledgeable and compassionate care!

My first appointment with Blue Hills Dental Associates was a pleasure. I appreciated the manner in which Dr Lee showed me X-rays of my teeth and explained what he had done. Dr. Lee also gave me an idea of what the future may bring. I received a warm welcoming from the staff member as I entered the office and Carol.

I’ve been coming to this dental office for years, and I can’t say enough good things about them. The entire team is consistently friendly, professional, and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in.

This was my first visit and it was an amazing experience. Carol was incredibly kind and helpful at the front desk. Dan, who took care of me, did a fantastic job, everything was painless, she was very thorough, and she checked in regularly to make sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. Dr. Chang was also very sweet and informative. Overall, a wonderful establishment that I highly recommend to others.

Dan and Dr. Chang were very professional and very knowledgeable and above all very enjoyable to be around while receiving services during my visit today. I felt very calm and safe. Both were Very comfortable while providing the services and Both were very beautiful to look at. I didn’t have to wait and my time was well spent. All my questions were answered and I was allowed to make my own decisions without pressure. I would highly recommend this office.
